A finish built on preparation
A quality paint finish starts with the condition of the surface. Before selecting paint, we assess holes, cracks, old coatings, moisture concerns, and the protection needed for floors and furnishings. Repairs, caulking, sanding, and primer may be needed before painting begins. A finish coat cannot correct a surface problem that has not been properly addressed.
Exterior painting depends on the surface, exposure, and access. Walls, doors, trim, fences, and patio features may need cleaning, scraping, patching, or primer before paint is applied. South Florida heat and rain also affect scheduling and drying, so we plan exterior work around the conditions—not just the calendar.
Choose the right scope
A touch-up, one wall, a complete room, and a rental turnover each serve a different purpose. Existing paint age, color, sheen, and wall condition determine whether a small repair will blend—or whether painting the full wall or connected trim is the better approach. We discuss those options before estimating the project.
For example, a rental refresh may include wall repairs, a bedroom repaint, and door touch-ups. Defining the surfaces, level of preparation, and access to the property upfront helps create a clear, practical scope.
Painting questions, answered.
Tell us about the surfaces, their condition, your color plans, and the property location for a more accurate painting estimate.
Can you paint just one room?
Yes. We handle one-room painting projects. Share the room size, wall condition, ceiling and trim needs, and whether the space is occupied. Photos help us determine the preparation needed and whether the scope should include walls only or doors, trim, and repairs as well.
Should drywall repairs happen before painting?
Yes. Holes, cracks, dents, and damaged drywall should be repaired before painting. Depending on the surface, the work may include patching, sanding, texture matching, and primer so the paint has a smooth, sound base. Send photos of the damaged area so repairs and painting can be included in the same estimate.
Do you handle exterior painting?
Yes, we review exterior painting for walls, doors, trim, existing fences, patios, and similar surfaces. The scope depends on the material, current condition, access, preparation needs, and weather. Photos of the full area and any peeling, cracks, or damage help us assess the project.
